Terms of Service

Welcome to Carl Johnson Bot ("the Bot," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bot and this website (collectively, the "Service").

By inviting the Bot to your Discord server or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Carl Johnson Bot provides Discord utilities for GTA San Andreas, SA-MP, and MTA communities. Current features include:

• GTA vehicle, weapon, and skin catalogs and related images
• SA-MP and MTA server status and player list commands
• Server configuration for linked game servers (e.g. /config)
• Help and documentation commands

• You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
• You are responsible for configuring the Bot appropriately for your server and members.
• You must have the necessary permissions to add bots to any Discord server you manage.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice.
• We may restrict, suspend, or revoke access to the Bot for any user or Discord server (guild) at any time, with or without prior notice.

When you add the Bot to a Discord server, it operates with the Discord Gateway Guilds intent only. The Bot does not read message content from channels and does not monitor conversations.

The Bot processes interactions needed to run its commands, including:

• Slash command interactions
• Modals, autocomplete, and UI buttons (for example, pagination controls)

The Bot is designed for use inside Discord servers only. It does not accept direct messages (DMs).

To operate the Service, we store limited data related to Discord servers where the Bot is installed, optional server configuration, aggregated command usage, technical error diagnostics, and abuse prevention records when necessary. We do not sell Discord server data, and we do not store message content, server icons, channel or role lists, individual member lists, full user profiles, usernames, avatars, or email addresses through the Bot.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized automated requests
• Abuse server query features to harass third-party game servers or send excessive automated queries
• Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Bot or its infrastructure
• Impersonate the Bot team or misrepresent affiliation with Rockstar Games, Discord, or other trademark holders
• Use the Bot in ways that violate Discord's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, or third-party outages (including Discord API downtime) may affect availability.

Server status features depend on third-party SA-MP or MTA game servers and query tools. Results may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable when those servers or tools are offline or misconfigured.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service unavailability or changes to features.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
